APA Hangar Tenants Coordination Group
This group has been formed to coordinate tenant response to recent lease and rate changes affecting hangar occupants at Centennial Airport (APA). These changes raise serious concerns regarding access, fairness, and stewardship at a publicly funded airport facility.
Centennial Airport has been supported by public funding and federal grants for decades, with an obligation to maintain fair and reasonable access for general aviation users. Recent actions involving hangar availability, lease terms, and pricing raise legitimate questions about whether those obligations are being upheld.
Tenants are increasingly concerned that access to limited hangar facilities is being constrained in ways that disproportionately impact smaller general aviation aircraft, while prioritizing higher-revenue operations. At an airport with long-standing capacity constraints and multi-year waitlists, these decisions have real consequences for based aircraft owners and the broader aviation community.
This group exists to document these impacts, coordinate a unified tenant response, and pursue appropriate administrative and legal remedies where necessary. We are focused on building a clear, evidence-based case that can withstand scrutiny and drive meaningful action.
Our current efforts include evaluating available legal and administrative remedies, including potential FAA Part 16 action and injunctive relief, while providing a central point of communication for affected tenants.
We are also organizing voluntary contributions to fund legal expenses and support a structured, coordinated response. Broad participation is critical — both to demonstrate the scale of impact and to ensure the resources necessary to pursue effective action.

Contributions are collected and managed through Centennial Airport Tenants LLC. Funds are used solely for legal, administrative, and coordination expenses related to tenant response efforts.
